To run your house, pay bills, and eat your favorite cake lunch, Sims have to work at a specified career job and complete working hours so that they can run their house expenses. There are only a few jobs that you can find in the sims 4.
You can find everything here if you want to become a DJ or an astronomer. Your sims will leave your house for a full day, even though the sims 4 jobs play an important role in your household expenses. They are tired at the end of the day and want to sleep.

These jobs give you the chance to get a head start on your skills, if you already know what career you want to go into, I would pick the job that focuses on that.
If your sims are ambitious, you can get the connections reward trait, which will allow you to start your careers several levels ahead when you become a young adult. They should add more teen jobs. I would like to see them extended to adults.
It would be great to have part-time or practical jobs. Some of my sims are doing manual labor.
