Are ATT improving their email system?

is att upgrading their email

The Classic version of AT&T Mail will be replaced by a new version on October 1, 2021. Before you lose your email access, it is time to upgrade. If you don't upgrade your AT&T account, your account will be permanently shut down.

Does att Yahoo Mail need to be updated?

You still have to log in through the AT&T system, so I don't see how it fixes the failed attempts problem. At that point, Yahoo doesn't know which version of Yahoo Mail it will display to you, Basic or the regular version.

I have posted the problem of too many failed attempts and forcing a p/w change many times and it still continues, probably every few times I attempt to access my att.net email using the Yahoo Webmail.

It happens when I try to sign into my att.net account from my PC to pay bills or manage my account. I asked if this could be an indication of someone trying to get into my account multiple times and if it was possible. I worry about that as well.

My brain only tells me that there have been failed attempts by someone other than me to log into my account, even though no one seems to have an answer to this too many failed attempts question. Does anyone else believe the same thing?

The kind of email that can't be blocked by Outlook or the native Yahoo mail app is called junk, the kind that the sender spoofs or masks their email address so neither Outlook nor the native Yahoo mail app can block it.

I can only get rid of about 15-20 of these emails a day, so I don't drag them into a Junk, Bulk, Bulk Mail, or Spam folder. I feel like the ATT.NET email system is about to fall apart.

Is AT&T updating their email?

If you don't click on the link in the fraudulent email, your AT&T email account will be closed, regardless of the wording of the fraudulent email. The reason they don't include your name is because they don't know what you're talking about.

What will happen to att Yahoo Mail?

When the email services were combined, it was possible to log in to Yahoo mail. Apparently, Yahoo and AT&T users were not very aroused about their association and continued using their own websites.

I used to have an at&t yahoo email account that merged my oldest yahoo email and the at&t account that I had created to subscribe to one of their services a long time ago.

I wanted to unlink my yahoo account, but I wanted to keep the at&t account because I didn't use yahoo anymore.

You can transfer your inbox and saved mail to another email service. You will need to contact Yahoo if you have problems logging in to your unmerged Yahoo e-mail.
