The calculations are based on the assumption that your Sim completes the same number of classes every term. In which case the number of terms needed to graduate will vary, because it is possible to take a different number of classes each term.
Even if a Sim only takes 3 terms to graduate, they will still spend the majority of their young adult life in university; however, unlike past Sims games, your Sims are not trapped on campus with no way to work or live a life outside of university.
It is possible for sims to live wherever they want, have a job, and raise a family while going to school, so this balances things out. If the length of university is not ideal for your play style, we recommend turning aging off in the game options while your Sim is in university.
They don't lose time to climb a career ladder or pursue other life goals if they use that method.
Every semester, your Sim has the option to take a maximum of four classes. They can either take up to four core classes or a mixture of up to three core classes and an elective.
If you choose to take fewer classes in a semester, your Sim will stay in university for a longer period of time before graduating.
If you want to strike a good balance between classes, I highly recommend that you stick to two core classes and a single elective: a total of three classes per semester. It will take 20 in-game days, or four whole terms, for this to be completed.
You can either graduate as an adult, or you can use the Potion of Youth aspiration reward to slow down the aging process until you graduate.
How is The Sims created?
Will Wright was the creator of the Sims series. He was inspired to create a simulation life after he lost his home in the Oakland firestorm and his family had to relocate. The series was described as a virtual doll house by him back in 1993.
The idea was met with skepticism, but he was offered a chance to publish it so he continued to develop the idea.
The first Sims game was released on February 4, 2000 and went on to have multiple games and expansion packs such as, The Sims: Vacation, The Sims: Unleashed, and The Sims: Superstar.
It is possible to re-edit a Sim using the instant beauty karma power in the console versions of The Sims 3. In The Sims 2, when a Sim plays on a computer, or a single Sim plays it on a video game set, the scenes shown are from the CAS.
The Sims are having a bustin' out.
The Game Cube version and The Sims Bustin' Out for console have a picture of a criminal in the window. A new random Sim of the age and gender will be created if you click the pair of dice icons.
Clicking the icon with several stylized person figures will open the Sim bin, and allow the player to choose a pre-made Sim of the selected age and gender. This will include Sims that have been created.
