Buyers who purchase items from your shop can pay using PayPal if you enroll in Etsy Payments. Your sales funds will be deposited into your payment account on Etsy. You don't have to pay a separate PayPal fee if you manage your money this way.

There are two versions of PayPal: integrated and standalone.

The default payment gateway is Etsy, and it allows shoppers to choose how they want to pay.

Many sellers on the platform have been on it for a long time, so they don't have to enroll in Etsy Payments.

Is it better to use Etsy payments or PayPal?

You can keep your PayPal sales separate if you already accept payments without using Direct Checkout. If you choose to use PayPal integrated through Etsy Payments, your own PayPal account will not show up in your payment account.

You don't have to pay a separate fee for using PayPal through Etsy Payments, but you won't be able to use it again once you switch to integrated Pay Pal.

Etsy Payments gives your buyers a range of different payment options and lets them pay in their local currency. It all ends up in your bank account.

There are mobile apps and other services on Etsy.com. Payments can be made with credit card, debit card, Etsy Gift Card, Etsy Credit, and some bank transfer services, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and some country-specific instalments payment methods.

You must be registered in an eligible country and have a valid bank account to enroll in Etsy Payments.

In the Shop Manager section of your account, you can enroll in Etsy Payments.

You can add Etsy Payments to your shop before May 17 by going to the Payment settings within your account. To verify your identity, you will be asked for your credit card, bank account details and address.
